Gandhi's Strategies Still Inspiring, say Human Rights Veterans

Recently in Ottawa, a panel of human rights veterans, Professor Rajmohan Gandhi, past President of IofC Internantional, Ebrahim Ebrahim, former Deputy Minister of International Relations in South Africa, and Cindy Blackstock, Executive Director of the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society, said, 'Gandhi's (Mahatma) strategies still inspire champions of justice around the world.' They were speaking at an event commemorating the 150th birthday. Journalist and IofC Canada member Susan Korah was there on assignment and filed this report.

Susan Korah's article was first published in New Canadian Media, an online newspaper that reflects the voices and perspectives of immigrant and minority Canadians. For the full article, please click Gandhi’s Strategies Still Inspiring, say Human Rights Veterans
