Initiatives of Change depends on the generosity of individuals and institutions to continue its vital work. With a long history of volunteerism overheads are kept to a minimum and a little goes a long way. In addition to cash donations, bequests and gifts of equipment and property, many have given the priceless gift of their time and skills.

Other sources of funding include some grants from federal, provincial and city governments, organizations and foundations.

Initiatives of Change Association (Canada) is a registered charitable organization and issues receipts for income tax purposes for all donations.
