Peacemakers Imam Ashafa and Pastor Wuye are to be featured on a new TV series from the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). October 18, 8:00 pm Oprah Winfrey presents the seven-night event, "Belief," a groundbreaking television event exploring humankind's ongoing search to connect with something greater than ourselves. "Seven billion people, searching for connection, redemption, meaning."

The second episode of "Belief," to be aired by OWN on October 19, features a segment on Imam Muhammad Ashafa and Pastor James Wuye. Entitled, 'Love's story', it takes the viewer on 'a journey around the world in search of what it means to love one another'. The episode ends with the story of 'two leaders in Nigeria who... come together to reconcile and to honor one of the most sacred teachings at the heart of both their faiths: love your enemies'.

Initiatives of Change has partnered with these remarkable peacemakers in Africa and across the world. More of their story & subsequent peacebuilding work is told in the film The Iman & the Pastor and it's sequel An African Answer.
