Ken Noble

Brought up in Manchester. BSc in physics at Imperial College, London where had much contact from MRA (as IofC was then known) people in London. Inspired by Garth Lean's books. Decided to commit my life to God. Worked with MRA as a full-time volunteer, initially in Malta for 18 months. Later based at Tirley Garth, the IofC residential centre in Cheshire, for seven years. Three months in Nigeria and then moved to London to work with Mary Lean as an editor of New World News in 1980. In 1987, I resigned and took a year's sabbatical visiting Canada, USA, Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and India. On return got married and started working as an editor of For A Change magazine, which I did for 16 years. Daughter, Laura, born 1993.
