Our society has suffered a great loss with the death of former Grand Chief of the Huron-Wendat Nation, Max Gros-Louis.  A dynamic figure of strong conviction, he fought passionately for the recognition of indigenous identity.

It was an honour for MRA / Initiatives of Change to collaborate with him over a period of more than forty years in several initiatives for dialogue towards building bridges of trust between individuals and communities, at the regional, national and even international levels.

“My wish is that people will live in harmony, respecting each other, both in human terms and in all that relates to the issue of ancestral rights”.
Interview with Julian Cabana. November 3, 2020, Journal de Québec.

Our sincere condolences to the family and to the Huron-Wendat Nation.
