Rob Corcoran spoke at UofC to the Peace Consortium on 15th.

The organizational structures of Initiatives of Change

The new structure beginning October 1st formally bring together the spiritual and the legal/administrative leadership of the movement.
The new International Council met Oct 9-16 hosted by the IofC centre in India, Asia Plateau.

Spirit of the Land and People opened at Whyte Museum, Banff, Alberta and runs till October.

On July 1st the Whyte Museum opened a special exhibition to celebrate the relationship between the Stoney Reserve and Banff.
Photos displayed were taken by photographer Bob Fleming and depict the story and world journey of Walking Buffalo and members of the Crowchild family 50 years ago.

The last of six conferences at the Initiatives of Change centre in Caux, above Montreux, closed on Tuesday, the 17th of August. Some 1,400 participants from 81 countries took part over the six conferences since 2 July.

The film Banking on Change was screened twice as over 50 people came in during the course of the evening. Between the showings musicians Prakash Joshi (vocalist and harmonium) and Roy Naidu (tabla) shared their music and talents. A local Indian restaurant provided snacks and an electronic store provided audio visual support. People were appreciative of the evening and dvds of the film were sold.

An encouraging mix of about thirty youth, and new and long-time supporters of IofC from Banff, Canmore, Cochrane, and Edmonton gathered in Calgary on Saturday, June 5, 2010 for a full-meal breakfast and Alberta planning and team-building session.

Toronto is arguably the most ethnically diverse city in the entire world. The Annual General Meeting of the legal body of Initiatives of Change (IofC) Canada was appropriately held in the Days Hotel and Conference Centre, Toronto Airport East, one of the most multi-ethnic areas of the city. A group of some 40 people from five provinces and from the USA gathered on the May 21-23 weekend.
